Pook Designz will be at the Bradford Public Library this Saturday to take part in the Bradford Arts Guild's "Expressions" art and craft sale from 10 am until 5 pm - this is a great opportunity to "kick start" your Christmas shopping! There will be a great array of artisans with all their beautiful work. Workshops in clay, cupcake baking and dance will be hosted as well - there is still time to sign up! Pook Designz will be hosting a Christmas Tree ornament workshop for $8.00 - it will be running from 10 am until noon - so come on Moms if you need a break and want to browse the sale, "child-free" sign the little one up for any of the workshops being offered. Pook is really looking forward to participating in this annual (newly started) event. Come on Bradford come out and encourage your local atisans and find that ooak gift you will be needing this Christmas!

Carrotfest is coming soon! Pook Designz update for August 2011

Hi Everyone,

Pook Designz is really busy making things for 2011's Carrotfest - it should be a great turnout - Carrotfest is quickly becoming one of the best festivals to participate in Ontario - they estimate attendance of 11,000! Bradford is growing and developing so quickly that so many new people are now residents - Carrotfest is going to be huge.

I am excited - I've been creating more of my little "Pookeez" - the kids seem to love them - and I will try to make more kits so everyone can make their own "Pook" character. I haven't been to the market as often as I would like but I am building up my stock so as to have more for the Fall Market.

Keep a look out as the Simcoe Arts Studio Tour is being promoted - the Town of Bradford is hosting it September 15, 16, 17 - should be a fine show - 3 days of amazing talent being exhibited all around town. Pook Designz will be showcased at the Bondhead Community Centre - look forward to seeing you there - hope you will come out and support Bradford's local artisans.
